Ansan Hallelujah FC are a South Korean soccer team based in Ansan. They currently compete in the Korea National League. They play their games at Ansan Wa~ Stadium.
Hallelujah FC is a religious (Christian) based club, which is a rare case in professional football. There are a few clubs established by a particular religion such as Rangers (Protestant), Celtic (Catholic) and AFC Ajax (Judaism), but most of today's clubs are free from religious colour and trying to globalise themselves. In this sense, Hallelujah is a very unique football club.
The club has had to move its home city twice, once from Iksan, centre of Won Buddhism, for religious conflict with Won Buddhists in 2003, the other caused by having artificial turf in their stadium in 2006.

Hallelujah moved their home base to the city of Iksan and joined the National League for the 2003 season, but participated in only the first of the two championship stages as protests by radical Won Buddhist groups in Iksan forced the Christian side out of their home stadium. For 2004 the club moved to Gimpo and the team's name was changed to Gimpo Hallelujah. From 2007 season, the club moved to Ansan and the team's name was again changed, directly to Ansan Hallelujah.
Note: Flags indicate national team as has been defined under FIFA eligibility rules. Players may hold more than one non-FIFA nationality.
